20th Annual Buffalo Watch
Run by Whitehouse Rescue Squad. Family Event. May is when most of the bison babies are born. The Rescue Squad runs this event as one of their fundraisers. Wild west cowboys, Native American Indians, antique dealers, hayride tours, live entertainment, pony rides, face painting, beer and wine garden, food trucks, bison burgers, over 100 vendors, antique cars, and more. $5.00 donation per vehicle.
May 27, 2018 1:00 – 4:00 A Girl Scout’s Adventure at Wizard School – Run by Readington Girl Scouts Service Unit 82. There will be $5.00 admission for kids 14 and under. Included in kids fee is a hayride, spell lessons, potion making, scavenger hunt, quidditch-ish game and quizzes. The Readington Girl Scouts will have tables set up outside of the activity barn selling handmade crafts, candy and snacks all related to Harry Potter theme. The Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey will be on site to answer any questions, help you sign up for 2019 girl scouts and renew your registration. 14 years old and up – hayride = $2.00 pp. This event is open to the public and intended to entertain children. We will be selling hotdogs and soft drinks.
June – August 2018 Summer is hay and garden season, please look out for pop up tours on a Saturday or Sunday. Large groups can email email@example.com to make a request for a group tour or a pop-up tour and tasting.
Saturday, September 29, 2018 9:00-5:00 Hogwarts Harvest – Run by Readington River Farm. Family Event – We have put together a super fun wizardry themed HP day. We will have hayrides to Hagrid’s pumpkin patch, a juried group of theme related vendors, a “Great Barn” that will have several activities including potion making, spell lessons, house sorting, Horcrux Hunt (geocaching style), quizzes, themed corn maze, unicorn rides, and more. The fee for the Great Barn is $5.00. Other activities are priced separately. We are going to offer an all access $10.00 ticket that will include all activities run by the farm (e.g. unicorn rides are a private vendor and would not included). We already have some very awesome and interesting vendors, all HP themed. Handmade wands, themed hand-painted cookies, character pillows, jewelry, and more. We will be selling bison burgers, hot dogs, pizza and soft drinks.
October 2018 – every Saturday and Sunday, pumpkin picking via hayride tour. We will also be selling burgers and hotdogs. We plan on having Pop-Up events throughout the month on the weekends.
